My Journey:
From Daydreams to Devotion
I’m Keith “Tex” Whitford. Author, brewer, musician, and a newly discovered storyteller. For most of my life, stories lived quietly in my imagination. Some were drawn from my own experiences, while others were worlds, characters, and adventures that existed only in my mind. I never imagined I had what it took to turn those ideas into books.
That changed when I began writing my debut memoir, The Distance We Crossed. Telling my family's true story gave me the confidence to put pen to paper and explore the countless stories I had carried with me for years. What began as a single book became the start of a creative journey I never expected to take.
Today, I write across genres—from heartfelt true stories and memoir to epic fantasy, suspense, and imaginative fiction. No matter the setting, my stories are driven by the same belief: that every life, every dream, and every journey has a story worth telling.
MY VISION
My vision is to transform the stories I've carried throughout my life both, lived and imagined into books that connect people. From the true story of crossing oceans for love to adventures born entirely from imagination, I want to create stories that entertain, inspire, and leave readers thinking about the people they love, the journeys they've taken, and the dreams they still hope to pursue.
